MY APPROACH

As a Tweed Coast newborn photographer and mother, I understand the importance of capturing this fleeting and vulnerable season in life.

My approach to newborn photography is a gentle-baby led session with a documentary style. We capture sweet close up moments on the beanbag, together with candid “life as it were” moments around your home.

These are the four walls where your story evolves and your hearts expand as parents. It is also where you feel most comfortable in these blurry early days.

PRICING & PACKAGES

WHAT TO EXPECT

01. GET IN TOUCH

If you have more questions about a Tweed Coast newborn photography shoot or wish to clarify anything, let’s jump on a call and chat. Or we can discuss via email or text, if that’s your preference.

Jump over to my contact page and share as much information as possible. I only book three newborn photo shoots a month to allow flexibility, so please don’t delay with your time sensitive sessions.

02. LOCK IN YOUR SESSION

If you’re happy with everything we’ve discussed, next we’ll lock in a date for your Tweed Coast or Byron Bay newborn photography session. Typically within 10 days to 3 weeks of birth, but anytime is fine really.

Of course, newborn photography sessions are flexible if bubs arrives early or late. A $200 booking fee is due immediately to secure the space in my calendar.

This may also be time to consider upgrading to a Bump to Baby photography package.

03. BOOKING INFORMATION

I will send a booking invoice, contract and questionnaire to complete upon booking. A week or so prior to your newborn photography shoot, I will send a preparation email regarding your maternity or newborn photography session.

I have a client wardrobe for both you and baby if you need some help with this.

04. KEEP ME INFORMED

Your baby will ultimately choose their arrival date, which may be early (even in the case of a planned c-section!) or a few weeks late. Please keep me informed if anything changes, so I can make space and adjust your dates wherever possible. I generally suggest adding me to your list of first friends/family to contact.

05. THE SHOOT

You will be sent a preparation email a week or so before your photography session. Including tips on how to prepare baby and your home for your newborn photography session. This helps us all for a smooth morning.

It’s always such an honour to be invited into your homes in these blurry, early days.

06. DELIVERY DAY

Your photos and slideshow will be delivered via a beautiful online preview gallery within 14 days. No need to agonise over favourites—they’re all yours to keep.

You can download both high resolution files (for printing) or web-ready files (for sharing online). Your newborn photography package includes a small handful of prints, so now it’s time to choose your favourites to print or share online with family and friends. A treasured documentary-style keepsake to remind you exactly how this time felt.
